USDTC FREESTYLE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS Click for Class Schedule Click for Training Application FREESTYLE is a fun and competitive dog sport combining training, teamwork and music to create a performance that showcases the bond between a dog and handler. Freestyle includes some familiar elements of obedience and rally and adds some creative athletic moves that highlight the unique talents of each individual dog. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL FREESTYLE CLASSES Dogs must not be aggressive toward people or other dogs. Proper footwear is required. No prong or choke chains allowed. Dogs must be current on vaccinations. Classes are limited to 6 dogs for Freestyle I, and 8 dogs for Freestyle II. Handlers must have a positive attitude and be ready to have fun! FREESTYLE CLASS LEVELS
	FREESTYLE I
	COST: $80 for 8 weeks	NEW CLASS STARTING: TBA
	Requirements: Dogs must be graduates of USDTC Basic obedience class or equivalent. Heel on leash with good attention, sit and down on command, able to hold a sit-stay/ down-stay for at least 30 seconds, and able to perform a reliable recall.
	FREESTYLE II
	COST: $80 for 8 weeks	NEW CLASS STARTING: 01/09/2012 - 02/27/2012
	Requirements: Must have completed Freestyle I.
	CLICKER TRAINING 101
	COST: $60 for 6 weeks	NEW CLASS STARTING: TBA
	Whether you are brand new to clicker training or you have been using the clicker but are not fully familiar with the science behind it, you will find this 6 week session to be extremely worthwhile. The class will teach you how to use a clicker and how to apply that knowledge to dog training in general; providing the groundwork for whatever venue you train, including: Obedience, Freestyle, Agility, Rally or Conformation. The class will teach behaviors including some basic obedience, freestyle, target training and lots of tricks to impress your family and friends. Maximum class size of 10 dogs. Requirements: Any dog age 6 months or older.
