MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION PDF FORMAT
USDTC MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
USDTC REQUIRES ALL MEMBERS TO COMPLETE SIX (6) ACTIVITIES PER YEAR IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN ACTIVE MEMBER BENEFITS. ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS ALLOW MEMBERS TO RECEIVE REDUCED CLASS PRICES (FOR THE FORTHCOMING CALENDAR YEAR) AND BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE FREE AWARDS IN YOUR PRIMARY REGISTRY AT OUR ANNUAL BANQUET AWARDS DINNER. TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE FREE AWARD YOU MUST ATTEND A MINIMUM OF TWO-EIGHT WEEK TRAINING CLASSES AT USDTC DURING THE YEAR. THESE CLASSES MUST BE IN THE AREA FOR WHICH YOU ARE RECEIVING YOUR AWARD.
CLASS COST
Non-Members and Non-Active Members $9.00
per 1 hour class
Active Members $7.00 per 1 hour class
If you are a new member
joining USDTC, the table below will indicate the number of
Activity Credits you need to accumulate after you have become a
member. You may begin accumulating credits as soon as the
Secretary receives your application for membership, however, you
will not receive reduced class prices until voted in by the
general membership.

EARNING CREDIT HOURS ARE THE FOLLOWING:
MEETINGS
Special Meetings = 1/4 credit
Instructor Meetings = 1/4 credit
Attend 2 general club meetings = 1 credit
Donate food to meeting - 1/2 credit
MINIMUM OF $15.00
MUST BE SPENT IN ORDER TO RECEIVE
1/2 CREDIT FOR FOOD DONATION AT THE MEETING.

Board Member = 6 credits
Agility Director = 2 credits
Obedience Director = 2 credits
Conformation Director = 2 credits
Maintenance Director = 3 credits
Registrar = 6 credits
Assistance Registrar = 6 credits
Newsletter Editor = 6 credits
Newsletter Distribution = 3 credits
Website Editor = 3 credits
Social Chairperson = 3 credits
Sunshine Committee = 3 credits
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
Telephone Committee = 1/2 - 1 credit
Articles for Newsletter = 1/4 credit
Misc./Work Related Activities = TBD by Board
PARTICIPATION IN CLUB

USDTC TRIALS
Trial Chairperson = 2 credits
Trial Secretary = 3 credits

Steward - 4 hours = 1/2 credit
MONETARY DONATIONS
Donation of $15 = 1/2 credit
Donation of $30 = 1 credit
Donation of $50 = TBD by the Board
USDTC CLASSES
Instructor & Assisant Instructor = 1/2 credit for each month
of instruction
Instructor/Assistant
Instructor will pay 50% of the active member rate or $3.50 per
class or $28.00 for an 8 week class.
There will be an Activity Binder in the office containing each
member's name. Each member is responsible for updating his/her
activities in order to receive credit for the activity.
NOTE: YOU CAN STILL BE A MEMBER OF THE CLUB WITHOUT PARTICIPATING
IN ANY ACTIVITIES.
HOWEVER, WILL NOT RECEIVE A PRICE DISCOUNT ON CLASSES.
