PUPPY KINDERGARTEN CLASS |
| COST: $70 for 7 weeks |

The puppy classes are designed for all breeds of puppies up to 6 months of age. Throughout the six week class, we help the owners to begin to understand their new friends, solve problems, answer questions, introduce obedience commands and to have fun! Obedience commands consist of: Sit, Down, Loose Leash Walking, No Jumping Up, Wait at Open Doors, and Come when called. Each class begins with a group discussion on an informative subject such as nail trimming, toys, crate training, or skin and ear care. Introduction to Puppy Agility Obstacle course is presented as well!
The puppy classes are divided by age and size appropriately. Monday PKT Class 3-6 month old is designed for young puppies or puppies of small breeds, Thursday KPT Class accepts all breeds 3 - 6 months.

PUPPY BASIC |

This class is for older larger breed puppies and / or puppy graduates that are ready to go to Basic Obedience classes but maybe not large enough or old enough to train with adult dogs in the regular Basic Obedience class.
This class teaches the same as Basic Obedience, while also incorporating puppy-appropriate discussions and socialization. Introduction to Puppy Agility Obstacle course is presented as well!

This 8 week course focuses on reviewing and strengthening basic commands as well as teaching your dog to Heel. Basic commands such as: Sit, Down, Come, Wait, and Stay are reinforced and some new commands are added to improve your dog's overall knowledge and performance. This course offers a great way to gain greater control of your dog and sharpen response to commands. Techniques taught in class will also expand your training options to include competition obedience, agility and more!
Requirements: Any dog age 6 months or older

SUB NOVICE/NOVICE |

There are two types of Sub-Novice/Novice classes. The Structured Sub-Novice Class is an 8 week class and focuses on attention, more concise heeling, along with introduction(s) to the different levels of Obedience Competition (i.e. Open and Utility) for A.K.C. as well as U.K.C. and prepares you and your dog for its CD title in obedience trial competitions.
If you do not wish to commit to an 8-week session and are familiar with the Novice level exercises, we offer on-going/drop-in classes. These classes are designed to work on the standard Novice level of Obedience. The exercises that will be focused on are off-lead heeling, stand for exam, recalls, and sits and downs.
Requirements: Must have Basic Obedience or had equivalent training.

OPEN AND UTILITY CLASS
This class is an advanced, competition-level class. But you don't need to have competition goals to train your dog in advanced obedience. The more you work with your dog, the more your dogs knows, the stronger the bond and the better the behavior. These classes reflect consistent training off lead, directed jumping, retreiving, scent work and out-of-sight long sits and downs. This class will prepare your dog to compete for CDX, UD, UDX and OTCH titles in obedience trial competitions. This class is an on-going, drop in class.

RALLY OBEDIENCE |

Rally Obedience is a mixture of obedience and agility. The team of dog and handler on leash move continuously and perform the exercises indicated by the sign at each location. After the judge's "Forward" command, the team is on their own to complete the entire sequence correctly. Unlimited communication to dog from handler is encouraged. Higher levels will be off leash and have jumps as well. This class will prepare you and your dog for competition at Rally Obedience trials, but you don't have to have competition goals to particpate in this class.
Requirements: Must have Sub Novice Obedience training.

FREESTYLE |

FREESTYLE is a fun competitive dog sport combining training, teamwork and music to create a performance that showcases the bond between a dog and handler. Freestyle, often called “obedience with attitude,” begins with traditional obedience elements and adds creative athletic moves that highlight the unique talents of each individual dog.
Requirements:
Dogs must be graduates of USDTC Basic obedience class. Skills include: heel on leash with good attention, sit/down on command, able to hold a sit-stay/ down-stay for at least 30 seconds, and able to perform a reliable recall.
- Dogs may not be aggressive toward people or dogs.
- Proper footwear is required. (see “schedule” page for specifics).
- No prong or choke chains allowed during class.
- Dogs must be current on vaccinations.
- Classes are limited to 6 – 8 dogs
- Handlers must have a positive attitude and be ready to have fun!

JUNIOR HANDLER BASIC OBEDIENCE |

This class is only open to junior handlers ages 8 years to 17 years. This 6 week course focuses on reviewing and strengthening basic commands as well as teaching your dog to Heel. Basic comands such as Sit, Down , Come, Wait are reinforced and some new commands are added to improve your dog's overall knowledge and performance.
Parents need to attend all classes as well.
Requirements: Any dog age 6 months or older.

MANNERS CLASS |
| COST: $40 for 4 weeks
|
NEW CLASS STARTING: On Hold |
You will learn how to teach your dog to walk nicely on leash without pulling. how to sit, lay-down, and come when called. "Stay" and "Place" will be introduced. You will learn how to teach your dog not to jump on approaching people and to wait until released before exiting a car or doorway. This class will prepare you and your dog for Basic Obedience. Leadership techniques will be discussed.
Requirements: Puppies 5 months and up are welcome.
